Occasionally we hold events to raise money, partly to boost our near-non-existent funds and also for charitable purposes.
We have currently selected "The Lions Club of Thanet" as our designated charity with the proviso that our donations are specifically used within the Thanet area.

On Friday 30th November, 2007 we held our first such event - a Quiz Night at the Westgate Pavilion.
The money raised for charity, after all the expenses were deducted, was £200. This was donated to "The Lions Club of Thanet" on Saturday 1st December, 2007.

On Saturday 1st November, 2008 we held our second Quiz night, this time the venue was
St. Andrew's Church Hall, Reading Street, Broadstairs.
The £142 that was raised on the night, was donated to "The Lions Club of Thanet".
