This, as the name implies, is an ancient site of execution, to the right of the photo (out of shot) is a stream used to test the guilt of witches. If they drowned - they were innocent, if they survived - they were guilty and executed.
The bright, small light anomaly, roughly in the centre of the picture, was not visible to the naked eye at the time and does not appear in a subsequent photo. Also there are three faint "orbs" in the top-right quarter of the picture.
