Daytime Walkabout Report
St. Margaret's Bay, Otty Bottom and Oxney Bottom

As we approached Otty Bottom, Bob, who was at the rear, thought he saw a small girl following us and described her as being dressed in red. One of the group had already sensed her and pointed out that she had been following us for some distance.
There was no physical person behind us and the footpath was open with no places of concealment in which to hide.

Finally, after a few wrong turns, we arrived at the perimeter of Oxney Bottom Woods, familiar surroundings at last, from where we knew the route to the chapel ruins.
Once at the chapel, I took some photos inside before sitting quietly under a tree outside. I sensed a woman in a long white dress moving around me and then 'heard' a male voice saying "Get out of here" to which I replied "When I'm ready thanks".
I could also sense a bonfire with people dancing and laughing, and also a small girl, aged about 5 - 7 with black hair in ponytails. Bob then shouted to ask me if I had just walked past the outside of the door to the chapel, all the group except me were inside the chapel but I was still sat under the tree. Bob had clearly seen a dark figure with a hat or hood move past the door and away from the direction from where I was sat. Bob and some others came out of the chapel for a look but there was no physical person to be seen and Bob is not prone to 'seeing' things.

Pictured below - light anomalies captured outside of the chapel just after this event:

We must go back on a Sunday for a full investigation, there are different feelings here on a Sunday then on any other day that I have been in the past.

With dusk falling, we decided to make our way out of the woods but couldn't find the footpath we needed to take to avoid the busy main road with no pavements. After doubling back, the way we had come earlier, we eventually got out.

In all, it was a long walk but glad we left the cars at home as there are places we wouldn't have seen without being on foot.

Addition
Pictured below - a photo submitted by Jen which may show a child's face?
The full photo is at a reduced size and the close-up is twice the original full resolution of the indicated area.
