Walkabout Investigation, 20th September, 2008

21:38
Sarah reported hearing a noise which she compared to a playground Seesaw in operation.
This sound was not evident on the video's audio but several screeching sounds were.

21:40
Following an asking-out, a light anomaly was visible on the camcorder.

21:41
A noise was heard by several of the group and, as we asked for a repeat, Keith briefly saw two blue LED-type pin-pricks of light just in front of him.

21:42
Bob briefly heard a sound which he compared to an audio recording being played and several loud cracks were picked-up by the camcorder.

21:43
Sarah heard a female shout from the direction of the ruins, Sue sensed movement in the same area and Bob saw a white light and then a red light.
Movement was heard in a bush close to the group and Sue saw some shadowy movements between the group and the ruins.

21:45
Sue and Dawn simultaneously saw movement in some bushes.

21:46
During a session of asking-out, several light anomalies may have been captured on the camcorder but it was difficult to be certain as the picture quality, at this point, was poor.

21:51
Vague light anomalies were captured by the camcorder.
Bob got the name "Jacoby" and Dawn picked-up on a "Gregory".

21:52
Sue reported seeing movement and felt a pain to her right shoulder and chest.

21:54
As Bob asked-out, the camcorder had difficulty focusing.
When Bob asked about a child, various light anomalies were evident at the very bottom of the camcorder's screen.

21:57
We relocated to the rear, left-hand corner of the churchyard.
Near a war grave, Bob got the impression of fire and his voice recorder appeared to switch itself on and began playing.

22:00
Having moved onto the bank to the left of what would have been the main body of the church, Bryn took this photo (pictured right) which appears to show a faint glow inside the tower.
We can't be certain, but we don't think any of us were in there at this time although it could have been someone else we were unaware of.
Other possibilities could be from the red lights on the beam alarm (unlikely) or its infra-red emissions?

22:06
Dawn sensed the following phrase - "Great is his name and you shall have no domain".
Bryn picked-up on a female by the name of "Josephine".

A mist was evident on the video but it was felt this was almost certainly from someone's breathe.

22:09
Keith and Dawn heard a cry from the rear of the churchyard.
Bryn was picking-up on loads of names, all beginning with "J" such as "Joseph", he also sensed the surname of "Blakley".
Sue, who was further up the bank and next to the ruins, reported that the old woman "Eliza" and the group of people with her had returned. They were trying to show her something, the woman had her arms outstretched in front her and to Sue it was as if she was gesturing "look, look, what they have done".
Sue wasn't sure what was meant by this and can only surmise.
Sue and Bryn reported hearing female voices.

22:12
Dawn and Bryn were sensing bits and pieces but nothing concrete.

22:14
Sue picked-up on a "Jacob".
Jen sensed a group of children, who appeared to be, playing a game like "Ring-a-ring-a-roses".
Sarah felt there were 12 children and Jen agreed.

22:15
Several of the group reported feeling sick to the stomach.

22:21
Sue, Bob and Dawn simultaneously heard, what they described as, female laughter from the tower. So we relocated there.

Pictured right - two light anomalies in the tower.

22:23
The door's position hadn't altered and, as far as we were aware, Keef's beam alarm had not activated.
Bryn reported the air temperature was fairly stable at 12ºC - 12.5ºC. We requested the temperature be dropped and Bryn registered 3.5ºC but it was suspected this had coincided with a sudden breeze.
Another EVP session was commenced but later analysis revealed nothing of interest.
It was asked for Keef's K2 Meter to be affected but nothing registered.

22:29
Several of the group briefly detected an odour which they compared to rotten fruit.

22:35
Bob was picking-up on female names beginning with "C" - Clara, Clarrisa, Claire and Charlotte.

22:36
Inside the tower ruins, a séance circle commenced following a Grounding and Protection.
Those participating: Jen, Dawn, Sue and Sarah.
As Sue asked-out, Sarah began swaying and felt as if something was tugging on her backpack as if to pull her out of the circle.
Dawn had a sneezing fit and voices were heard at one point that didn't seem to be coming from outside of the tower.
Sue sensed the vague presence of a woman with long dark hair, aged between 30 and 40 years.

22:53
Unfortunately, just as the séance seemed to be getting somewhere, Bob informed the group that we had been joined on the site by a young couple doing their own investigating and after that it seemed to go flat so it was decided to close the séance down.
Later analysis of the video recording of this section of the investigation revealed various small light anomalies which had the appearance of "dancing about".
