Due to the nature of the building
and the risk of sound cross-contamination, evident on a previous visit,
we decided to limit the numbers on this investigation and to have
only one team.
Team: Bob, Sarah, Sue, Dawn, Jen, Keith, Jack, Bryony and Kieran.
Due to our safety concerns of difficult access and lack of floor space,
the cellar was omitted from the investigation and was monitored by
Camera 2.
Once the remainder of the team
had arrived, and prior to the commencement of the investigation, there
was a Risk Assessment briefing as required by our insurance.
During the planning stages of this investigation we were informed
that use of a Ouija Board would not be welcomed so, as a consequence
of this and it being our policy to respect the wishes of those connected
with a given building, we prohibited their use at this property.
All those involved then had a wander
around the building (with the lights on) to familiarise themselves
with the layout. During this period, we noted various windows had
loose panes of glass which on occasion would rattle in the breeze
- very distinct sounds.
