Sunday 9th March, 2008.

Written by Sarah.

Group - Bob, Sarah, Sue, Dawn, Dave, Bryn and Anne.

Although we have included some light anomaly photos, most of the "orb-type" ones are probably moisture - during daylight there were several light showers which had cleared by dusk although occasional droplets continued to fall from the overhanging foliage after this.

We arrived at Martins Mill at 14:15 and began walking up through the village to find the remains of Langdon Abbey. After approximately an hour, we reached the perimeter of the field which contains the remains - a large field with the Abbey located on the far side. With the time getting on, it was agreed that it was too far to go as we needed to be at Oxney Chapel for dusk.
We decided to do Langdon Abbey on a separate daytime walkabout in the future.

After a long walk and by using the series of footpaths from the road leading to St. Margaret's Bay, we eventually entered Oxney Bottom Woods and made our way towards the ruins.

16:30
For the last section, Sue, Dawn, Anne and Bob decided to take the path from the drive to get to the chapel and Sarah, Dave and Bryn decided to cut straight through the woods and find the chapel that way.

16:57
Arrived at the Chapel ruins.

Took some photos:
Pictured right - inside the chapel, no idea what this anomaly is, there were no branches or anything else in this area which may have been responsible.

Pictured below - two separate light anomalies captured outside of the chapel.

Initial feelings were of calm and peacefulness.
Whilst we had a break for refreshments, Anne placed the voice recorder inside the chapel - later examination of the recording revealed it was useless due to the sound of the wind drowning everything out.

Alone, Sarah went into the chapel but immediately got the impression of having company.
Sue and Dawn then went inside and also felt there was something there.
