Thursday 17th July, 2008.
Group: Sarah, Bob, Sue and
Dawn.

Left the pier at Viking Bay and made our
way along the seawall promenade towards Stone Bay.
20:34
At the far end of the promenade, by the bottom
of the steps, Sue felt someone was stood behind her and also "heard"
voices, Dawn could also sense this person.

On the second landing of the steps
leading to the cliff-top, Dawn picked-up on a man with a stick,
she also reported hearing a ticking sound, a single footstep
and more voices.
Sue reported seeing a light reflecting
in her camera screen but examination of the wall, directly behind
her, revealed nothing obvious that could have been responsible.

against the steps.

Sarah also heard footsteps, which seemed
to be following her down the steps, and what she described as a wooden
stick tapping on metal railings.
Bob heard some thumps but felt these may have been sounds of the sea
echoing up the steps.
Pictured below - two photos
of light anomalies.

On the first landing, both Bob and
Sarah briefly detected perfume - a sweet, sickly smell.

Sarah and Sue sensed a woman, Sarah could
"see" her in a long dress, walking down the stairs.
An EVP session commenced.
As Bob asked for the year, Sarah sensed 1835 and Dawn picked-up on
1839.
As Bob asked for a name, Sue felt a "Bert" or "Gilbert"
was present.
Later examination of this audio recording revealed no EVPs were captured.
21:11
Bob, out-of-the-corner-of-the-eye, reacted
when he thought he saw Sarah, who was stood next to him, raise her
hand to his shoulder but Sarah had made no such move as she was clutching
her jacket under that arm.
A loud click was heard and movement was sensed lower down the steps.
21:38
Once at the top of the steps, Sue thought
she saw a brief light as she looked down.
Leaving the steps, we made
our way towards the lighthouse.
Sue and Dawn both agreed that the top road felt really strange.
Nothing else was sensed after
this point.
After arriving at the lighthouse,
we made our way home along the footpath through the fields, with the
Walkabout ending at around 22:30.
