Arrived at the location and were taken on
a tour by the manager before he retired to his flat for the night.
Following a Risk Assessment and briefing, as required by our insurance,
members explored and familiarised themselves with the property.

A joint Protection and Grounding, in the
Undercroft, was held for those who wished to participate before the
commencement of a Communication Circle, led by Jake.

Break.
During this break, Sue had witnessed something white "floating
around" outside the rear of the main house.
Following some experimentation, we concluded that whatever it was
must have been walking directly behind the hedge to be seen as the
ground slopes away from this point. Bryn, who initially examined this
area, reported that no footprints were evident at that time on the
grass as our footprints were clearly visible in the dew elsewhere.
Sue described what she had seen as a human form, just a head and shoulders
type shape above the hedge and it had moved quickly to the right,
in the direction of the road.
Also during this break, Keef
was alone in the Furniture Room conducting an EVP session.
At 22:59
he asked "Are you pleased that the house is bringing pleasure
to people from seeing it how it used to be".
A sound anomaly was recorded shortly afterwards which Keef feels is
saying "I love her".

Split into our respective teams:
Team 1 - Bob, Sarah, Bryn, Jake, Julie, Jack and Bryony.
Team 2 - Sue, Dawn, Jen, Paul, Keef, Natalie and Claire.
To reduce noise contamination,
it was decided to have only one team in the house at a time, the other
team would investigate the Gatehouse and grounds.

Break.
During this break, Bob had been outside near to the front door and
had seen a hooded figure move across the Dovecote Shop located near
to the Gatehouse. Although the area wasn't well lit, he had seen,
whatever it was, move across the white sign positioned to the side
of the shop door.
As we had arrived, Bob had seen similar but had dismissed it as one
of the staff.
Several of us went over to this area and discovered that as soon as
we went anywhere near the shop, a motion detector floodlight came
on - on both occasions this figure had been seen, this floodlight
had not activated which rules out a physical person having been in
the area.

Both teams came together for a joint investigation
of the Main House.

After this break, members were free to split into smaller teams and
choose which areas to explore inside the Main House and/or grounds.
