Thanet GhostWatch Property Investigation Report
The Granville Theatre, Ramsgate

Bar

Written by Bob.

20:55
Group Protection and Grounding for those who wished to participate.

21:08
Glass Divination and asking-out commenced.

Contacted a "Brian", it was felt he was a military man.
Jack sensed he had a connection specifically to ships which was subsequently confirmed by the glass.
"Brian's" energy was weak, he wasn't trapped in the building and came here in visitation.
Jake sensed he was associated with the cadets and eventually it was determined that his surname was "Chast".
He had come here to watch shows in 1934 and had died in 1938 but not of natural causes.

21:20
The manner of the movement of the glass suddenly changed which led the group to suspect that this was no longer "Brian".

Bryony reported a cold sensation of "something" having moved past her.

This new contact was felt to be called "Bob" and to have worked in this theatre but Jake suspected this was not the case and for some reason he didn't want to give his true name.

21:26
Jake sensed the group was being watched, through the wall, from the corridor outside.

Jack was picking-up on something which he described as "not very nice", to which a lot of the group agreed.

The bar area was extremely warm but Bryony was getting cold shivers.

Jake sensed there were a number of spirits present, some were associated with the old Ramsgate Hospital, some with the Flour Mill area of Ramsgate and others who had a connection to the former Ramsgate Sands Railway Station.

Another contact was made but, again, Jake felt this person wasn't being truthful.

Jake sensed another, this was "David" who was currently stood behind Jack.
"David", Jake felt, had been in an explosion onboard a ship in Ramsgate harbour, and his resulting injuries had left him in constant pain for the rest of his life.
Several of the group felt this explosion had been the result of a bombing raid on the town during WWI.
Sue sensed he had been killed later in an alley following an argument outside a pub, possibly around 1935 in Thompson's Passage, Ramsgate?

The manner of the movement of the glass changed which led the group to suspect they were now communicating with a different presence.
Jack felt this was an American pilot and following a series of questions it was determined that his name was "Bill" and he had passed in 1945.

Jake felt there was also another American present, which was confirmed by the glass, and both had been based at Manston where they had perished during a German bombing raid in WWII.

21:55
Sarah, Sue and Bryony detected a cold breeze.

Jake sensed a dark presence in the corner, to which Bryony agreed, stating that "she didn't like it".

21:59
Communication closed-down.
