London Trip, 2009
Tower of London and Richard Jones' Ghost Walk
Page 2 of 2
After leaving the Tower we
grabbed a bite to eat in a nearby restaurant before heading to the
starting point of the ghost walk near Bank underground station.
In the station, Jake sensed a lot of screaming and panic which he
felt was connected to a bombing or two bombings, one further back
and one more recent.

After arriving at the setting for
Scrooge's Counting House, Jake became aware of a blonde 'lady
of the night' named Sally who said to him "Ello my darlin",
she was wearing a long tatty dress, black stockings and that
was it under the skirt! She also had a habit of flashing her
thigh.
Jake could also 'hear' some singing
coming from a nearby tavern or that would have once been nearby.

In the first churchyard we
went into, Jake got a dank earthy smell.
At Change Alley, Jake picked-up
on a brutal sexual attack, where the female victim had died from her
injuries.
At Freemasons Place (the one
with the haunted cobble stone), Jake sensed two or three injured sailors
standing on the corner.
He felt that there had been an injustice done towards these men by
someone that had lived here.
Outside Simpson's Restaurant
in Ball Court, Jake 'heard' a police whistle and 'saw' a big burly
policeman, with side whiskers, standing at the alleyway junction,
he was pointing.
During the walk, Jake had been dictating his feelings and had been
deliberately hanging back from the rest of the group. Later examination
of this audio recording revealed a possible EVP at this location.
This audio-clip is available on this YouTube
Link.
At St. Olaves Walk, Jake 'saw'
a man in a top hat and evening attire walking towards the group but
he had no face!

In the sunken garden which was a former
graveyard, Jake sensed an anxious woman who was rubbing her
hands together. She was wearing a long dress and bonnet.
Sue detected an energy in the corner,
the same corner where mist-like light anomalies had been captured
on previous walks.
Pictured right, a triple light anomaly
captured in this garden towards "the" corner.
On entering the Guildhall courtyard,
both Sue and Julie got a strange, nasty feeling.
We highly recommend this Ghost Walk - Richard
is an excellent guide and orator.
This walk was both informative and entertaining.
