Keef's camcorder battery suddenly dropped
from showing 30 minutes of charge to zero.

Claire, when she later examined her voice
recorder which had been left in the master bedroom, discovered a possible
EVP which sounds like a prolonged "Yes".
This occurred as Jake was telling the "old woman" to come
out of the bathroom.

A thud was heard so asking-out commenced
but with no obvious responses.
Jake was "told" this section of the house had been a granny
flat in the 1970's - 80's, "it was cheaper than putting her into
care".
Movement was heard in the corridor,
from the direction of the bathroom, so more asking-out commenced but
again with no obvious responses.
An EVP session and then a K2 session followed but neither yielded
any results.

Claire, when she later examined her audio
recording, discovered another possible EVP. This time indistinguishable
whispering, although we are fairly confident this wasn't from any
of the team.

Both Jake and Keith felt this area had now
gone flat so it was decided to take a break.
Break.
During this break, Keef had
left his camcorder monitoring the bathroom next to the two back bedrooms.
Later examination of this recording revealed a prolonged creaking
sound, probably from a door, although the bathroom door was the only
one visible and that was not seen to move.

On returning to the kitchen, Bob
discovered his camcorder had no power. On closer examination, its
battery had been partly removed. The locking mechanism on the battery
requires a button to be continually depressed at the same time the
battery is slid out, something which cannot happen accidentally!
Front Bedroom

Jake sensed that "Charles" was
actually a spirit whose real name was "Chris".
Jake reported "seeing"
a figure stood between Paul and Keith.

Keith reported seeing the silhouette
of a child stood next to the stairs which had been illuminated
by a camera flash from Keef.
At this time, Keith was pointing Claire's camcorder towards
the stairs and pictured right is a video-still at the moment
the flash fired.
Unfortunately it is not very clear but there is a "figure"
shape, however this may be the newel post of the bannisters
and may or may not be what Keith saw.

"Gerry", a former neighbour,
made contact. He knew of a small fire in the house which claimed
the life of a girl, aged six and named "Zena"?
It was later established that "Gerry"
had attempted to save this girl from the fire which she had
caused whilst playing with some candles. Unfortunately he had
failed and she was still present in the house, although she
does try to avoid being seen.
"Gerry's" surname was "Tosher" and he had
passed in 1970, aged 95, from a heart attack.

Jake indicated that "Chris"
was currently stood behind Mrs. Smith, and a constant 10mg EM Field
was detected around her head, for which we could find no obvious source.
Two more contacts were made
but these were related to team members.

At this time, Keef's voice recorder, in the
cellar, captured what sounds like a gasp of breath.
This sound anomaly appears to have been close to the recorder compared
to the obvious and distant sounds from the group who were two floors
above.
It was established that "Chris"
had attached himself to Mrs. Smith whilst she had been at another
property.
"Chris" indicated he wanted to cross-over and Jake assured
him that he would help him to do so later.
Jake felt that not all the
spirits were connected to the house or the family, they were being
drawn from the neighbourhood to the group's positive energy in the
hope of being assisted to cross-over.
The last one to make contact was a "Christopher", aged 35,
he had been a doctor-in-training who had been tried for murder at
Canterbury and had been hanged at Maidstone.

Jake commenced a Cleansing Ceremony throughout
the entire house and grounds.

Ended.
The cross trigger-object in
the cellar failed to move.
Jake's Thoughts
This was a classic case of how a spirit,
or spirits, can upset a household, sometimes without the owners being
aware of exactly how bad the situation is.
Spirits are only people who have "passed over". When they
do this, they do not change straight away, so a happy person may become
a happy spirit but likewise a depressed person may become a depressed
spirit.
With the gentleman who had hung himself in the cellar and "Chris"
who had attached himself to one of the occupants, both had high levels
of negativity with them which in turn was affecting the living occupants
of the house.
Once the house had been cleansed and the spirits who were passing
on this negative feeling started to leave, the atmosphere began to
clear.
The cleansing served two purposes, not only helping those who were
living in the house now but also sending on the poor spirits who were
stuck in a distressed state within the house and those who had been
drawn to the group.
I am pleased to say that the house is now well back on the way to
becoming a real family home again and where there was negative energy
and negative spirits, love and normal general family life can now
take over.

A few days later, we received
the following message from Mrs. Smith:
I am very pleased to say that
there has been no reoccurrence of any of the strange happenings or
any of the strange feelings that I had before.
It was like a big black cloud has been lifted off the house and myself.
I am now able to stay in the house on my own and it is not the problem
it was before.
I am very pleased with the outcome of the investigation and cleansing.
