Minster
Walkabout Report

21:29
Still stood at the war memorial, looking in the direction of Monkton,
Jake saw some movement nearby next to some bushes and trees, and moved
to this area.
Jake and Sue both continued to see movement, Sue suggested it could
have been a stone from a nearby pile that had been thrown?
Jake stated that the movement he had seen always seemed to move from
right to left, but never from left to right.
21:36
Jake asked-out for an indication of anyone being present but with no
obvious response.
Jake then walked a short distance to the other
side of the trees and bushes and stated that the hairs on the back of
his neck had stood up on end at that point. He felt that as the three
of them had walked around, the spirits moved in the opposite direction,
as if to avoid them.
As
they headed back to join the rest of the group at the cemetery
entrance, Sue said that she felt the presence had been a teenage girl.
Sue asked-out but no response was evident.
A moment later, Sue stated that she had
seen, from the-corner-of-her-eye, a light shoot past her.

21:45
The group reassembled and headed into the village of Minster and to St.
Mary’s churchyard.

21:57
The group entered the churchyard and gathered at the side of the church.
22:01
As Jake stood next to a tomb, he felt "really creeped out" and
described his skin as "crawling".
C.B felt that the group were being watched.
Jake commented that it was almost as if someone was looking at the
group as if we were participating in some form of witchcraft, and that
we "should be taken away from here".
He sensed that we were not at all welcome.
C.B had the feeling of wanting to leave, and she
was, at that point, unable to step any further into the churchyard.
She agreed that she felt the group was not welcome.
22:04
Sue asked for a sign and then Claire heard two knocks from inside the
door at the side of the church.
Unfortunately this sound was not captured on any audio.
Sue asked for another knock on the door or for any
other sign and a moment later she heard a knock on the door, which
Claire didn't hear this time.
Again, this was not evident on any audio recordings.
Sue and Claire moved to the main church door.
22:07
As Sue and Claire stood still, Sue asked for the door to be knocked on.
At this point, there was a sudden rustling in the trees directly behind
them, as if a gust of wind had passed through the branches.
This was strange as there was no wind at all beforehand or directly
afterwards.
Both Sue and Claire heard this and agreed that it
had felt "very strange" at that moment as though it had been on cue.
Jake joined them and knocked on the door to see if
there would be a response but nothing unusual was observed.
22:09
Sarah and Keef moved to the rear of the church whilst the rest of the
group joined Sue and Claire.
C.B and Claire both stated that they felt very sick at this point.
22:11
The rest of the group then joined Sarah and Keef at the rear of the
church.
22:14
Keef described it as being "very eerie" to one side of a nearby large
shrub.
22:15
Pictured right - a light anomaly.
Sue asked-out, but the group ascertained
that any noise should be put down to wildlife, as there seemed to be
movement from within the shrub area.

22:20
The group moved further to the back of the churchyard.
As Jake and Claire stood by the rear wall, Jake could 'hear' "The lord
is my shepherd..." being sung. He felt there was a congregation in the
church and he could also 'hear' the organ being played.
Jake 'saw' a cluster of three lights inside the
church, through one of the windows.
22:22
Jake had the numbers 6311 'given to him'. Claire wondered if this was a
hymn number but Jake said it was more like a reference to something
else, but wasn't sure what.
Jake sensed that the singing was aimed towards the group as some kind
of protection from them.
22:28
Jake described, what was going on inside the church, as "a really weird
service". He felt that whoever was conducting this was offering
protection for things they didn't need to be protected from. He also
felt that this was a very superstitious man and this had occurred in
the 1700's.
22:30
The group decided to move to the far corner of the church where
everyone stood still and quiet for a few moments to see what could be
picked-up on.
22:31
Claire felt an uneasiness coming from the corner of the church she was
currently stood next to. A moment later, she felt a pressure on her
forehead, similar to that of someone pressing a hand against it.
The rest of the group were too far away to have accidentally touched
her. Claire then stated that the feeling of sickness had suddenly
disappeared.

Sue requested this be done to someone else in the
group, but this did not occur again.
22:34
Both Sarah and Claire heard the close sound of a man groan - all the
male members of the group were accounted for and were at a distance
from them.
Following this, Sarah thought she saw the figure of a person stood by
the corner of the church exactly where Claire had previously felt
uneasy, but on examination there was no physical person present.
22:38
Jake attempted some psychometry on the church wall. He sensed a monk
who walked around the churchyard and, at this point, he saw a light
move across one of the windows.
Jake described this the monk as "scary looking but not an elderly man",
he seemed to guard the whole area and carried a bell with him.
Claire stated that she thought she had just heard
some chanting, Sarah then remarked that she thought she had heard a
similar thing earlier.
Pictured
right - three red/brown anomalies, possibly in the form
of figures which appear to be on this side of the gravestones?
22:41
Sarah reported having "gone really cold all over".
Jake felt that the church today was very
different to what the monk would have seen, and that his name was
"Fisher".
Jake said that he would try to get the monk
to ring the bell that he carried.
22:43
Jake reported hearing the clang of a bell but his was not evident on
any audio recordings.

Sue had picked-up on someone that went around
saying "Unclean", Jake suspected this was aimed at the group.
22:45
Sue felt drawn to the railed-off area of the roof, but didn't know why.
She then knocked on the door directly below this and asked-out.
Julie stated she had just detected a strong smell
of perfume and, at the same time, Sue felt a breeze across her face.
22:49
The group moved towards the front of the churchyard where Claire
thought she had heard a noise come from the inside of the church.
One corner of the church felt very uneasy to
several of the group, and both Sue and Claire felt cold blasts of air
in this area.
22:57
The group left the churchyard.
Walkabout ended. At no time were there any physical persons at either location apart from the group.
