We would like to welcome the new members that have joined in the past month.
We hope you enjoy looking around the Site and hopefully you will be able to join us on a Walkabout or at one of our social meetings in the very near future.

We would also like to wish all members a Happy New Year and welcome you to the January Anniversary Newsletter ...... we celebrate our second official Birthday on the 9th of this month.

We had an excellent 2008 for investigations and walkabouts. Although on the surface it may have seemed to have gone quiet over the Christmas period, it was far from that with the Core Team busy arranging investigations for the upcoming year.

Property Investigations - we already have seven locations and these will be announced closer to the dates of each one.

Walkabouts - we have various Walkabouts planned, including Minster, Thanet, Dover, Sandwich and Herne Bay.

Day Trips include - Dover Castle and Rochester Castle. Also London, taking in The London Bridge Experience and Richard Jones' Ghost Walk.

To be able to participate in property investigations you will need to have attended three other events including at least one night time Walkabout (other events include Open Meetings).

Dates for your calendar
Thursday 8th January, 2009 - the first Open Meeting of 2009 at the Brown Jug Public House, Dumpton, Broadstairs, from 8pm.

Sunday 11th January, 2009 - a guided historical walk around the sights that skirt Dover Castle.
Please note: this event is not organised by Thanet GhostWatch.

Saturday 17th January, 2009 - Walkabout Investigation around Minster.

Thursday 29th January, 2009 - Local Walkabout Investigation, location TBA.

Details of these events have been, or will be, posted on the Forum, so if you are interested then please put your name down.
Please remember to check the Forum regularly for any last minute changes.
All Walkabouts are dependant on the weather.
