If you are interested in becoming a member, or are just interested in what we do, then you are more than welcome to come along to an Open Meeting, providing you are aged 18 or over.
Membership is free, we are a not-for-profit group.

To become a member of Thanet GhostWatch you must be aged 18 or over (proof of age may be required).
There is no longer any online registration - the membership process now involves attending our monthly Open Meetings in order to meet and get to know the Team and other members ..... more info.
Details of these meetings are advertised in these Newsletters, on the Forums and on the Home Page in the News Scroller.

If you have any interesting stories and you would like them to be included in this Newsletter or on the Forums then you can email me on sarah@thanet-ghostwatch.org.uk

Members please note:
It is each member's responsibility to be aware of event dates and times, and also any payment deadlines for upcoming events which are clearly posted in the Forums, therefore we recommend that you check these Forums at least once or twice each week.
Should you have computer problems and are unable to do so, please let one of the Team know.

Unless you have contacted a member of the Team concerning computer problems, members of the "Investigator Group" who have not logged into the Forums for a period exceeding 1 month will be removed from that group (without prior notice) and will no longer be able to participate in any activities.
Please note: advance notice of this rule was first given in August and is now being implemented as of November 2010.

Ramsgate

Last month saw two Walkabouts, the first being a short evening walk around several Ramsgate locations including St. George's Churchyard.

Palm Bay

The second Walkabout was a return visit to Palm Bay for the anniversary of the WWII American bomber crash.
A good turn-out for this one considering it was mid-week, a few thing were picked-up on but unfortunately it had to be cut short due to the weather.

Dates for your calendar:

The venue for Open Meetings will be alternating each month between "The Brown Jug" and "The Hare and Hounds" public houses.

Details of these events have been, or will be, posted on the Forum, so if you are interested then please put your name down where applicable.
Please remember to check the Forums regularly for any last minute changes.
All Walkabouts and certain other events are dependant on the weather and are subject to cancellation.
